Textured decorative stainless steel plates are available with the following finishes
Leinen (Linen), Leder (Pigskin or Buffalo), Raute (Rhombus), Eisblume (Elephant Skin), Karo (Square), Austenit, 5WL, 6WL
The thicknesses vary between 0.8 and 1.5 mm
Standard format 1250 x 2500 (other sizes, consult)
The surface finish can be BA (glossy (cold rolled IIId with bright annealing), or 2B (cold rolled IIIc with matt pickling), or brushed.
We can supply custom cuts and special dimensions upon request.
Characteristics of textured, decorative, vandal-proof stainless steels
- Rigidity – During the steel texture process, when the tension is distributed evenly throughout the surface, the material gains in stiffness.
- Rays of light – Different steel textures eliminate the “wavy” effects of light rays, as well as dissipate light in architectural applications.
Weight savings – Textured steels are much stronger than standard steel plates. This allows the reduction of the thickness that translates into the consumption of less raw material – with the consequent saving of money. - Cost improvement – By increasing the stiffness of steel, the resistance to dents and scratches is greater, which directly implies a reduction in maintenance costs.
